Pastor Brian Bio

Pastor, community advocate, humanitarian, musician, songwriter, conference speaker, and broadcaster (Bridging the Gap telecast); Elder Brian A. D. Curley began fulfilling his call to the ministry in 1990 when he began to preach the gospel at the young age of 20 years old. He "went to school" at learning from some of his most favored preachers (and gospel singers), and had the great privilege of being spiritually "fathered" by the late, great Apostle Quander L. Wilson just as he had already been mentored musically by the late Professor Harold G. Boggs.

Elder Brian Curley pastors what his local area folk calls "one of Port Clinton's best kept secrets"; named Rebirth Community Church. This multi-racial, nondenominational church is very unique in the fact that it has a central base of strong worship, praise, and unconditional love. Just a month ago Pastor Curley received the "key to the city" by Mayor Tom Brown and has been acknowledged by the mayor of Port Clinton as "his favorite preacher", and is well respected by other peers in the ministry alike. Pastor Curley is currenlty as well working on his doctorate degree by distant education.

Pastor Brian met his wife Katherine in 1995 while in ministry in Beaufort, SC and remained friends for two years until they mutually agreed over a distant relationship to take their bond another step further until one day they united in holy wedlock in his grandmother's home located at 314 Ash Street in Port Clinton, OH in 1999. They have 2 beautiful children together named Demetrius Bryant and Brianna Nichole to which they devote most of their time to outside of the ministry.

Pastor Curley is the chief executive to the ?Bridging the Gap? ministry telecast and with many blessings and outward proof of favor, has been selected for numerous events locally for dedications, prayer breakfasts, conferences, and one of the local speakers for the National Day of Prayer. Pastor Curley is hoping to help turn around the lives of the homeless, drug addict, single mothers, the abused, as well as play a key role as to helping give purpose to MEN. Elder Curley not only desires to be a pastor to his church, but be a "pastor to the city of Port Clinton". By the grace of God, along with Katherine by his side; there is NOTHING that they can't do!
